August 2023 - April 2024

Practicum II

  • St. Michael's School

  • A full-time 12-week practicum teaching 100% of the time for at least six weeks and intended as preparation for full-time employment in education

  • Skillfully and thoughtfully created and executed unit plans, lesson plans, and assessments in all subject areas

  • Collaborated with team members on ways to enhance student learning and engagement

  • Participated in the Extended Practicum Experience from September 2023 to December 2023, which included attending the first two weeks of school as well as an additional 14 days during the fall term to build relationships with students and staff

September 2022 - December 2022

Social Issues in Education Practicum

  • St. Louis School Grade 2-3

  • 18 hours experience as a fourth year pre-service teacher specific to the increased need for the implementation of social emotional learning in the classroom as an accompaniment to EDUC 4325 - The Impact of Social Issues in Education and Schooling

  • Whole group social emotional learning support including the design and implementation of lessons specific to self-regulation 

March 2022

Physical Education Practicum

  • St. Francis Xavier Academy Grades 4-6

  • 12 hours experience as a third year pre-service teacher specific to physical education as an accompaniment to EDUC 3105 - Curriculum Instruction in Teaching Physical Education

  • Implementation of a Physical Education unit plan including attention to assessment

January 2022 - March 2022

Assessment Practicum

  • River Heights Elementary School Grade 2

  • 18 hours experience as a third year pre-service teacher specific to assessment as an accompaniment to EDUC 2375 - Effective Assessment: Measurement and Evaluation.

  • Focus on interacting with assessment tools used by the classroom teacher and independently building effective assessment tools 

August 2021 - December 2021

Practicum I

  • River Heights Elementary School Grade 2

  • 5 weeks of full-time practicum, teaching 50% of the teacher's workload for at least 3 weeks

  • An immersive experience including many of the responsibilities of the teacher, inclusive of classroom management, planning, and supervision 

January 2021 - April 2021

Language and Literacy Practicum

  • St. Michael's Elementary School Grade 1

  • 30 hours experience as a second year pre-service teacher specific to literacy as an accompaniment to EDTS 371 - Language Development and Literacy in School 

  • Whole group support in all academic areas with a focus on small group literacy support

September 2019 - March 2020

Professional Dimensions of Teaching I & II

  • Crestwood School Grade 3

  • 60 hours experience as a first year pre-service teacher 

  • One-on-one student support in literacy and numeracy

  • Focus on building relationships with the students and familiarizing myself within classroom
